When Jesus' disciples wanted to know the future and asked Him, "What

shall be the sign of Thy coming and of the end of the world?", He didn't reply with
only one sign, but with dozens! In fact, the Bible gives us the scores of "signs of
the times", "signs and signals that we are to look out for so that we can know
exactly how close to the very end we are.

These signs include: A dramatic upsurge in "famines, pestilences and
earthquakes in various places"

Mathew 24:7

7 For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.

Mathew 24:14

14 And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.

Daniel 12:4

4 But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased.

Amos 8:11,12

11 ¶ Behold, the days come, saith the Lord GOD, that I will send a famine in the land, not a famine of bread, nor a thirst for water, but of hearing the words of the LORD:

12 And they shall wander from sea to sea, and from the north even to the east, they shall run to and fro to seek the word of the LORD, and shall not find it.

2Thessalonians 2:3

3 ¶ Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;

2Timothy 3:13

13 But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived.

Mathew 24:12

12 And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.

Luke 21:25,26

25 And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring;

26 Men's hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken.
